The Sock Drive was hosted at the Chicago Public Library from Nov 12-Dec 15th, 2023.  Organized by Jeremy Kitchen, the Head Librarian and Bridgeport’s Branch Manager, and guided by the concept and art direction of Jess Bass. The Sock Drive had an unbelievable response with over 1500 socks which were donated to Haymarket Center, the Migrant Free Store, Chicago VA, and Canaryville Veteran Rider’s Association to support the Bridgeport community and beyond. Throughout The Sock Drive, there were art and activities on the topic of socks to engage patrons of the library.
